The website https://alumni.skema.edu is the property of SKEMA Business School. The site is managed by the Alumni Department at SKEMA Business School. SKEMA Business School is a State-recognized higher education institution with non-profit by-laws (registration no. W 59 500 85 01), whose registered office is located at Avenue Willy Brandt, 59777 Euralille, France - Tel.: +33 (0)3 20 21 59 62.

 

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

This website is the property of SKEMA Business School, which holds all copyrights and producer rights to it, as defined by Articles L111-1 and following of the French Intellectual Property Code. The alumni directory, photographs, texts, slogans, drawings, images, animated sequences with or without sound, as well as all artwork incorporated into the website, are the property of SKEMA Business School or of third parties that have authorized SKEMA Business School to use them.

 

Paper and electronic reproductions of said website and the artwork contained on it are permitted, on condition that they are strictly reserved for personal use, excluding all advertising and/or commercial and/or information uses, and/or that they comply with the provisions of Article L122-5 of the Intellectual Property Code.

 

With the exception of the above provisions, any reproduction, display, use, digitization or modification of part or all of the website or of some or all of the artwork that it contains, by any process whatsoever and on any medium whatsoever, without the prior authorization of SKEMA Business School, is strictly prohibited and will constitute an intellectual property infringement.

The recorded information is reserved for use by SKEMA Business School (and its subsidiaries) and by the SKEMA Alumni Association and can only be viewed by members of the network (alumni, students and recruiters) with a valid login.

Under no circumstances may the personal data in question by exploited for commercial or political purposes. Each member and/or partner authorized to access the network’s data agrees to comply with this clause.

 

PRIVACY POLICY

When you use the skema-alumni.com website and the apps downloadable from the Google Play and Apple stores, we may collect the following data: the URLs of the links from which you accessed the skema-alumni.com website, your internet service provider, and your internet protocol (IP) address.

All data collected via forms on the website is stored in electronic files by SKEMA Business School. This data is intended for internal use and, where applicable, for the school’s subsidiaries and/or subcontractors. We will only transfer data to third parties for the purpose of responding to your enquiry, and will always do so in accordance with the purpose for which it was collected. Such third parties are bound by a confidentiality obligation and are only permitted to use your data in accordance with our contractual provisions and applicable legislation.

We use the data collected via our various online forms for the following internal purposes:

 

Alumni Department forms

The information collected by this department is erased at alumni’s request and is processed for the following purposes:

-             Tracking alumni.

-             Producing statistics.

-             Sending information (emails, newsletters, text messages).

-             Registering attendees for school events.

-             Providing career support.

-             Publishing the online alumni directory.

All required information is marked with an asterisk. Other than in the cases mentioned above, we undertake never to sell, assign, transfer or allow third parties to access your data without your prior consent, except where have a legitimate reason to do so (to meet a legal or contractual obligation, to combat fraud or abuse, to defend ourselves against a legal claim, etc.). If we transfer your data outside the European Union, we will ensure that the country to which we are transferring it offers an adequate level of data protection.

The data controller is the Dean of SKEMA Business School.

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 and with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 or 27 April 2016 (entry into force on 25 May 2018), you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to receive your data in a portable format, and to restrict the processing of your data. You may also object to the processing of your personal data if you have legitimate reasons to do so. To exercise your rights, please contact the Legal Department at juridique@skema.edu , enclosing valid proof of ID with your request.

If you do not or no longer wish us to contact you by phone, text message, post or email (to send you news, marketing messages and invitations), you may opt out from such communications at the point at which we collect your data, or you may contact us under the conditions mentioned above.
